Authors at SoftRock NZ

Every editorial page on SoftRock NZ carries a byline. Here's who writes the reviews, what we stand by, and how a review actually gets made.

Editorial standards

We byline every editorial page on this site and stamp it with a last-reviewed date. We publish corrections within 7 days of confirming an error and note the change at the bottom of the affected page. We test the operators we recommend — we don't recommend based on a press release. We don't accept paid commentary, sponsored sections, or copy supplied by operators. If a review reads positively, it's because the operator scored well on our public rubric, not because anyone paid for the framing.

Our team

Editorial process

Every review on SoftRock NZ goes through the same steps. Outline — what the page needs to answer for a Kiwi reader. First draft — written against the rubric, not against the bonus headline. Fact check — cross-reference the operator's licensing register entry, the current bonus T&Cs on the operator's own page, and the operator's banking page for NZD and payment-method claims. Publication — bylined, dated, with the rubric score shown. Quarterly re-check — bonuses, banking, support response times and licensing status are all revisited every three months.
